WESTCHASE PTA AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT - BEGINS SEPTEMBER 6 & 7, 2017
Dear Westchase Parents,
Registration for Fall ASE is not yet open as we are finalizing all the details. ***New this year: registration will be ONLINE!*** Registration will open at 8:00 PM on Wednesday August 23, and will close at 5:00 PM on Sunday, August 27. Classes officially start on September 6 & 7 and run 2 weeks longer, ending on November 8 & 9, 2017.
We have a first-come, first-serve online sign-up and payment process for the classes. To see club descriptions please go to http://westchasetampafl.ptaptsa.org/ase-club-lists. Once you are ready to sign up, beginning at 8 PM on August 23, please go to https://westchasetampafl.ptaptsa.org/ase-club-signup. Each child will need to be registered individually. At that time, you may choose to participate in both Wednesday and Thursday classes or only one class if desired. Online payment is powered by Amazon web services (SSL Level 1 PCI DSS certified; the gold standard for e-commerce solutions worldwide). All major credit cards and PayPal accepted.
If you wish to pay by check, paper sign up forms will be available in the front office. ***Please note: Signing up online has the advantage of being first-come, first serve AND you will immediately know if your child is accepted into the class. (If you are unable to access registration online, please email email@example.com , prior to WEDNESDAY.)
All clubs meet for one hour after school. Students are encouraged to bring a snack to eat prior to each class. Students in athletic classes are encouraged to bring water to drink during their activity. ASE participants are brought to the MPR by their teacher at the 2:15 dismissal time. At the end of ASE at 3:25, walkers are brought to the walker gate, HOST and REC are walked to their respective areas and all other students will be taken to the car loop for car line pick up outside the MPR. You must have a car line pick up card displayed on your dashboard during ASE pickup.
Late pick-up policy: There is a $20 late fee to be paid in cash to the ASE Club Coordinator for child pick-ups that are more than 15 minutes after the stated pick-up time (3:30). This fee, if incurred, must be paid before the student attends the very next club session. Continued failure to pick your child up on time will result in termination of participation in the Enrichment Program.
Class switching policy: We will grant requests to switch classes so long as those requests are made after the first club meeting and before the second club meeting, and there is availability in the requested class. If you have any concerns or questions, at any time, please reach out to our ASE coordinators Sherida or Brandy.
Code of Conduct: Students are expected to meet the same code of conduct in ASE as during school hours. A student’s participation in ASE is at the sole discretion and permission of Westchase Elementary PTA. Westchase Elementary PTA reserves the right to exclude or remove students from the ASE Club Program based upon conduct. There are no refunds of club fees.
