WESTCHASE PTA AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT - BEGINS February 20 - 21, 2019
Dear Westchase Parents,
Registration for Spring 2019 ASE is not yet open as we are finalizing all the details. ***Once again, registration will be ONLINE!*** It will open at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 6th and will close at 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 10th. Classes officially start on February 20th & 21st and run 8 weeks ending on April 17th &18th 2019. Each class is $95, except for Chorus, Orrfs and Drums which are $50.
We have a first-come, first-serve online sign-up and payment process. Club descriptions are now available online! You can access the online registration beginning at 8 PM on Wednesday February 6. Each child will need to be registered individually. At that time, you may choose to participate in both Wednesday and Thursday classes or only one class if desired. Online payment is powered by Braintree a PayPal service, (SSL Level 1 PCI DSS certified; the gold standard for e-commerce solutions worldwide). All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.
All clubs meet for one hour after school. Students are encouraged to bring a snack to eat prior to each class. Students in athletic classes are encouraged to bring water to drink during their activity. ASE participants are taken to the MPR by their teacher at the 1:55 dismissal time.
At the end of ASE at 3:15, walkers will be taken to the walker gate. HOST, KidsRKids (new this year) and Rec Center students will be walked to their respective areas. All other students will be taken to the car loop for car line pick up outside the MPR. You must have a car line pick up card displayed on your dashboard during ASE pickup. Please do not park and walk up to the car line to pick up your child. If you wish to park your car, you must designate your child as a walker and pick up at the walker gate.
**For the safety of your child, changes to your choice of pick up will not be allowed once ASE classes begin**
Volunteers: ASE volunteers will be eligible to register first to ensure their child gets the class of their choice along with a 50% discount on their child’s ASE classes. We do ask that you only sign up to volunteer if you are able to commit to the FULL 8 weeks. If you need further clarification or have questions, please email email@example.com.
NEW! Late Pick-up Policy: A warning will be given for the first offense of a child pick-up that is more than 15 minutes after the stated pick-up time (3:15). The second offense will result in the termination of participation in the ASE program. No refunds.
NEW! Drop/Add/Change Policy: Refunds will be offered only for withdrawal of class during the registration period. During the registration window, parents may contact firstname.lastname@example.org. We will grant requests to add/change classes subject to availability so long as those requests are during the registration period. Once classes begin, no changes to the roster will be made. This is FINAL.
NEW! Waitlist Procedure: Many ASE classes fill quickly once registration is open. Parents may register via Waitlist with their waitlist preferences. Open spots will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis by timestamp. Teachers/Vendors CANNOT add students to classes. Spots WILL ONLY be filled through the waitlist. *Please allow a 48 -hour response time.
Code of Conduct: Students are expected to meet the same code of conduct in ASE as during school hours. A student’s participation in ASE is at the sole discretion and permission of Westchase Elementary PTA. Westchase Elementary PTA reserves the right to exclude or remove students from the ASE Club Program based upon conduct. There are no refunds of club fees.
