WESTCHASE PTA AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT - BEGINS SEPTEMBER 26 & 27, 2018

Dear Westchase Parents,

Registration for ASE Fall 2018 is not yet open as we are finalizing all the details. ***Once again, registration will be ONLINE!***  It will open at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 5, and will close at 12:00 PM NOON on Sunday, September 9.  Classes officially start on September 26 & 27 and run 8 weeks, ending on November 14 & 15, 2018. Each class is $95 with the exception of Chorus & Orffins which are $50 each.

We have a first-come, first-serve online sign-up and payment process. Club Descriptions are now available online! You can access the Online Registration beginning at 8 PM on Wednesday September 5.  Each child will need to be registered individually.  At that time, you may choose to participate in both Wednesday and Thursday classes or only one class if desired.  Online payment is powered by Braintree a PayPal service, (SSL Level 1 PCI DSS certified; the gold standard for e-commerce solutions worldwide).  All major credit cards and PayPal are accepted.  

All clubs meet for one hour after school.  Students are encouraged to bring a snack to eat prior to each class. Students in athletic classes are encouraged to bring water to drink during their activity.  ASE participants are brought to the MPR by their teacher at the 1:55 dismissal time.  At the end of ASE at 3:15, walkers are brought to the walker gate, HOST and REC are walked to their respective areas and all other students will be taken to the car loop for car line pick up outside the MPR. You must have a car line pick up card displayed on your dashboard during ASE pickup.  

Volunteers:  Anyone volunteering to help with ASE will be eligible for early registration.  We do ask that you only sign up to volunteer if you are able to commit to the FULL 8 weeks.  If you need further clarification or have questions, please email ase@westchasepta.org.

Late pick-up policy: There is a $20 late fee to be paid in cash to the ASE Club Coordinator for child pick-ups that are more than 15 minutes after the stated pick-up time (3:15).  This fee, if incurred, must be paid before the student attends the very next club session.  Continued failure to pick your child up on time will result in termination of participation in the Enrichment Program.

Class switching policy:  We will grant requests to switch classes so long as those requests are made after the first club meeting and before the second club meeting, and there is availability in the requested class.

Code of Conduct:  Westchase Elementary's code of conduct applies to each ASE class.  First disruption will result in a phone call to the parents; second will be a one class suspension; third disruption will be dismissal from the program with no fees refunded.  Prorated refunds will be offered for withdrawal from class during the first two weeks of classes.
